What is Success? How does it relate to literature?

In today's world, most people relate success to money, fame, and influence. There are also people who view success through an emotional lens of fulfilment and happiness. When I think of success i think of all of the above, but I realised that most people would tell me I have to pick one or the other. Being a person who has been told my whole life that success is for specific people, career and mindset I have always looked at it in that manner. Not being yourself but being a successful person, not thinking of you but thinking of everyone. 

Success in literature is something that is seen in everything, the way you speak, write and more. I have been told by my mother that a successful person always sounds intellectual no matter the situation. You will only be taken seriously if you are able to make a person feel like they are learning something new or if the way you speak makes them want to improve themselves. Literature is the main source of knowledge, no matter the generation, It is how we know of our past, future and more. Having Knowledge is a key part of success because knowledge begins the journey of success, no matter how you view it.
